‘Breathtaking’: FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA CONCERT RAISES $9.5 MILLION FOR BUSHFIRE RELIEF

Fire Fight Australia benefit concert held at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium has so far raised more than $9.5 million towards bushfire relief.

More donations are expected when the show is televised in the United States and the United Kingdom in the coming days.

The concert also raised spirits in the wake of the most devastating bushfire season in living memory. More than 75,000 people packed the stadium in Sydney and enjoyed 9.5-hours of entertainment from international and Australian performers who generously donated their time and talent to the concert, hosted by writer, actor, and comedian Celeste Barber.

It was an iconic moment in Australian history, and Eventpod clients who attended in various Corporate venues haven’t stopped commenting on the quality of the artists and electric atmosphere.

Rock behemoths Queen + Adam Lambert, Alice Cooper, Irish favorite Ronan Keating, singer-songwriter k.d. lang and Tina Arena were all on the bill, including many more artists.

The international stars were joined by homegrown Australian acts spanning generations, including 5 Seconds of Summer, Amy Shark, Delta Goodrem, Grinspoon, Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Olivia Newton-John and more.

All donations made through firefightaustralia.com will go directly to the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal’s FIRE FIGHT FUND to ensure local community groups can access support throughout their recovery journey, when the time is right for them.
