The multi-award-winning musical The Book of Mormon returns to Australia in 2026, bringing its internationally acclaimed production to Melbourne and Brisbane. Celebrated for its sharp wit, original score, and standout performances, the show continues to be one of the world’s most successful contemporary musicals.
The Australian return will feature two major seasons:
Melbourne
The production opens in February 2026 at the Princess Theatre, one of Australia’s most historic and prestigious theatres. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s theatre district, the venue provides a classic setting for a world-class stage production.
Brisbane
In July 2026, the season moves north to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), the city’s leading performing arts venue and a central hub for major international productions and touring shows.
Created by the minds behind South Park, The Book of Mormon is known for its irreverent humour paired with impressive musical composition and large-scale stage design. Since its Broadway debut, the production has earned global acclaim, multiple Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy® Awards, and record-breaking international tours.
