Event Type 2: Horse Racing

Melbourne Cup Day 2026 takes place on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. It is the highlight of the Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Racecourse. Known as “the race that stops a nation,” the Melbourne Cup is a world-famous Group 1 Thoroughbred race run over 3200 metres. Each year, it attracts elite horses, jockeys, and trainers from around the world.

However, Melbourne Cup Day is about more than racing. The event is also celebrated for its vibrant social atmosphere. Guests enjoy high fashion, live entertainment, and premium hospitality. As a result, it remains one of Australia’s most iconic sporting and cultural occasions.

For those who cannot attend Flemington, Randwick Racecourse in Sydney will also host a Melbourne Cup Day event. Here, guests can enjoy live race screenings, on-course racing, and a lively social setting. This ensures the excitement of Cup Day is shared nationwide.

Eventpod offers tailored corporate hospitality and VIP packages for Melbourne Cup Day 2026 at both Flemington and Randwick. These premium experiences are ideal for client entertainment, team celebrations, and elevated corporate hosting.
